Having a love for music I know how frustrating it gets when 99% of all the music in this world can only be listened to by way of recordings and not much else. Besides which how often can you attend a concert and have the artists play the same exact way again and again for you just for you and only you, indefinitely?
I actually know of a well-to-do country and western guitarist who bought himself tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of "high-end" MARK LEVINSON gear. I m not going to be writing about that stuff here.
I honestly hope he is happy with his system (though I doubt it), as all musicians probably would one day want a TROPHY STATUS top end reference system like his, or I hope, better.
A musical system.
The gear I review here aren't exactly cheap, but they are not in the $10,000 per component (or the $100,000 complete system) price points either.
They represent reasonably priced equipment delivering exceptional (or in a few cases, exceptionally bad) sound.
